Pokémon are categorized into eight official types, each influencing battles through strengths, weaknesses, and variety in abilities. Knowing these types helps trainers build competitive teams and appreciate the depth of the Pokémon world. Let’s break down the types and introduce you to the full roster.

The Eight Pokémon Types

1. Normal
   The dominant and most common type, featuring a solid foundation of speed and vitality. Great combination starter (e.g., Bulbasaur, Charmander).
   Key Traits: High intra-type speed, often deceiving opponents with resilience.

2. Fire
   High offense and special attack types, known for intense heat-based powers. Vulnerable to Ghost, Ghost, and Fighting types.
   Examples: Charmander, Blaziken, Arcanine.

3. Water
   Versatile and strong in special moves, with excellent water breathing and powerful Hydro attacks. Weak to Fire, Ice, and Grass.
