Grab a pencil and paper—here’s how to create a charming fox illustration in just a few simple steps:

Step 1: Outline the Body Shape

Start with a rounded oval or an elongated teardrop shape for the fox’s torso. Add a slightly elongated neck and small back legs, keeping proportions natural but not too rigid.

Step 2: Add the Head and Facial Features

Draw a rounded head slightly tilted to add expression—foxes’ faces convey intelligence and curiosity. Sketch large, almond-shaped eyes with a slant: this gives that iconic fox gaze. Add a small triangular nose, a slit for nostrils, and lines for a clever smile.

Final Thoughts

Step 3: Draw the Ears
